P0755 is the electrical circuit fault for Shift Solenoid B — same logic as P0750 but on the second shift solenoid in the pack. On 4-speed transmissions A and B together handle all four shift events through binary on/off combinations (00, 01, 10, 11 maps to gears 1-4); on 5- and 6-speeds there are additional solenoids (C, D, E) added to the matrix. Fluid level and condition first. Then external harness inspection at the case pass-through connector — corroded pins or pushed-back terminals create open-circuit conditions that scan identical to a failed solenoid. Ohm-check from the case connector pins for Shift Solenoid B per FSM spec (typically 10-40 ohms for on/off, 5-15 ohms for PWM linear); out-of-spec is a solenoid or solenoid-pack replacement, in-spec points upstream to wiring or the TCM driver. As with P0750, a clean electrical-circuit code with no companion performance code (P0756) usually means the problem is external — connector, harness, or TCM driver — rather than the solenoid itself.
